What a Day!

Ok I woke up at 6am and went out to check the mares with mom. It was going good with 7 babies, alright then we saw Candy. Candy was shaking so bad and had blood all over the hind end. She couldn't even walk to get on to the trailer. Then we finally got her on, we went to the vet and she had passed away. The vet tried to save the colt but it was to late. Then I came to school. WHAT A DAY, WELL MORNING!

Random Weekend

It was awesome! To start the week had a buckskin/ dun stud! -->

Then I baby sat with my sister until 12 o'clock am! It was really fun though!

After that we went home! The next morning mom and I went out again to check the mares and

we had 2!

Then we had the farrier come and cut horses hooves!

At about 3 we left and got 3 puppies! We got 2 and got 1 for Alan! They are so cute!

The Mane Event

The last 3 days of the Easter Break, my sister and I went with Alan to the Mane Event! It is all about horses, the best thing is that I love horses! I had a blast, with so much fun things to do there! I had a lot of favorite things, including MOUNTED SHOOTING, GYPSY COBS, SEEING STACY WESTFALL, SHAWN SEABROOK, JOHNATHAN FIELDS, and lot more. They had a trade fair there, which I bought a lot of stuff! I got 2 blankets, 2 things of polo wraps, boot cleaner and new cowboy boots.

EASTER BREAK!

I can't beleive that it is only a few days away from having our 11 day Easter Break! I will have the longest week EVER! So much stuff to do from 4-H, from cleaning to having fun! I can't wait it is going to be so much fun! I will be training horses and also getting my 4-H books up to date! IT IS GOING TO BE SO MUCH FUN!!! :)

WHAT A WEEK

This week started with a lot of work!
Sunday- Worked with two of my horses named Lizzy and Dancer. Rode Lizzy for the first time!
Monday- Had school with not a lot of work too! Went home from school and saddled up Lizzy and rode. Rode Dancer after supper.
Tuesday- Had school and had a lot of fun! Got home and rode Lizzy again. Dancer got rode that night again!
Wednesday- had school again. Hope to ride Lizzy again with Dancer ready to ride that night!
Thursday- Is going to have school again and then go home. Ride both of my horses which are Dancer and Lizzy.
Friday- wake up at 5:30 in the morning and then go skiing! Hope to come home soon and ride Lizzy and Dancer.
Saturday- SLEEP IN! get up and Ride Lizzy and Dancer 2 times.
Sunday- SLEEP IN AGAIN! Then ride, ride, ride and more ride
Monday- School, then home and RIDE! That night is also 4-H!! YIPPEE

Jackpots

Every weekend or every other weekend at the Sounding Lake Riding Arena they have a jackpot. Their website is http://www.soundinglakearena.com/ if you are interested in going to them. They are really fun to go to, I have been going to them for 3 years now. They give out gifts to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th in every event. The events are roping, barrel racing, pole bending, keyhole, and goat tying/untying. For the groups they are 8 and under - pee wee, 9-12 Jr., 13 -15 int., 16 - 19 Sr.. They also do a Barrel Racing jackpot, Roping jackpot, and alot more too! I have never won anything but it is really fun! You can take your friends and just hang out plus have fun too.

What About Christmas

This year we should not spend a lot of money on Christmas gifts. So make a limit and try not to go over it. If you get your child(ren) an expensive gift, buy them something that goes with the expensive gift like balls, pucks, sticks, pads, skates, helmets and other stuff. Then if you are not at the limit, buy them little things. For girls buy them nail polish, makeup and other things. For a boy get them Lego, action figures, trucks and other things like that. This year we should give like Jesus gave us. Give money to people in Africa for food, water, shelter, clothing, games, bedding, and even go over to help them out. The people there are always looking for some help them out. If you help them build a better looking community they will really appreciate it. You could go down with your family for the Christmas break to help and it is probably even warmer there then here.

I feel this way because it is nice to give to people that don’t have money, shelter. For so much we can help them it is such a good thing to do. Even if you can’t give to them, give to a shelter, homeless people, children’s hospitals or even anything.
